This is a classic Italian hotel, with a fine entrance and spacious reception rooms. The rooms are functional but not remarkable. This is all about the bellmen, who make everything happen - first rate service. And one little touch recommends this hotel particularly - when I left behind my spare trousers, not only were they found and kept for me to pick up at reception when I came back through Modena, they had also been washed and pressed at no charge. Pleasant surprises like that make holidays!

Amazing stay in this hotel near to the city centre. Hall and reception look fabulous, the breakfast is incredible with a high range of products. The staff was professional and efficient: special thanks to Gavino for his hospitality.

The room we had was rather small, and the carpet could do with renewing. The breakfast was excellent and the service from the manager, porter and hotel staff was excellent. It is a beautiful hotel in a super location for looking around the beautiful city. We also had a reserved parking space, which was extremely handy.

Fantastic! Absolutely charming and beautiful! A sophisticated hotel maintaining old world charm while offering modern service. The rooms are like stepping back in time -- in a good way! The staff and service are superb. The grounds are gorgeous and relaxing. Breakfast is bursting with choice and delight. And Modena oozes with history and charm, with a very relaxed and slow-paced vibe. I can't say enough good things about my stay here.

Gorgeous hotel, wonderfully located in the historic centre of this charming city. Friendly staff, helpful, kind, and with a great sense of humour. The breakfast is great. Finally, cleanliness is impeccable. Hands down an all around excellent choice of accommodation!
